Eight Stages - Student ToolsThe training ethos was designed to be a training aid which encapsulates the following. If you are going to invest your time training to master skills to deal with conflict, it is important then to ensure you are getting the most for your effort. This means continuously improving by learning new skills and mastering learned skills. There will be times when you will find what you are doing is not improving yourself. When this happens stop! Maybe you are having and off-night and need to take a break. Maybe you are just in the wrong track and to change it up. Either way stop. If you are not improving then you are wasting your time. Regroup and try something different, even if that something different is not training for a while. The next level is being constantly vigilant that you are improving. The Eight Stages are intended give you the focus and tools to always be improving. If at any time you are less than certain you are current activity is allowing you to improve, then it is not. Any doubt should be the trigger to stop and reflect. You and you alone are responsible for your learning and mastering skills. Take that responsibility and make sure every minute training counts.
